Christmas Tree Lighting

Mark your calendars on December 3rd for the 2nd annual Christmas Tree lighting ceremony celebrating a "Hometown Christmas"

The Tree Lighting ceremony sponsored by Downtown Crossville, Inc. and the Cumberland Artisans of Tennessee Studio/Gallery will be held on the lawn of the Crossville Depot. The ceremony promises something for everyone!

Beginning with Santa's arrival at 4:00 PM and at 4:30 carolers from the Central Baptist Church will begin the entertainment. Be prepared for a thrill as the carolers will dress in period costumes (provided by the Threads of Hope Thrift Store). Hot apple cider will be available to keep you warm on an early December eve.

Bring the kids and your camera for a photo opportunity with Santa and a traditional Christmas sleigh provided by Tri County Rental. At 5:00 PM the holiday season will become official when the Christmas Tree lights will be turned on.

The tree lighting will be followed by the Sweet T's clogging to some of your favorite Christmas songs, local line dancers and the Playhouse kids singing. Come early and grab a spot for a chance to bring back those memories of a special time and to focus on the magic of the Christmas season.
